Behavior of harming skin in autumn and winter

How many did you hit?

Treasures! Do you feel that there are more skin problems in winter?

Dry itching, redness and acne take turns. In fact, many times our casual behavior hurts the skin! Today, let's take stock of the super common skin-damaging behaviors in winter. Come and see if you have been recruited ~

Myth 1: The hotter the water temperature for washing your face, the more comfortable it is

The weather is cold in winter, and many sisters like to wash their faces with hot water. They feel super warm! However, hot water will destroy the sebum film on the surface of the skin, make the skin barrier fragile, lose water faster, and the more you wash, the drier you get. Subsequent skin care products are not easy to absorb, and it is easy to be sensitive and red.

The right way to do it: Wash your face with warm water around 37 ℃, as long as it is close to your body temperature, gently clean and not irritating ~

Myth # 2: Just applying toner is enough

In winter, the air is dry, the secretion of sebaceous glands is reduced, and only applying toner can't lock in moisture at all! If the water evaporates quickly, the skin will be drier, and there will be dry lines and peeling. In the long run, the skin condition will get worse and worse.

Correct practice : Be sure to apply lotion or cream after toner! Choose moisturizing cream for dry skin and refreshing lotion for oily skin. Only by locking water can you keep your skin moist ~

Myth 3: Frequent exfoliation

Feel that your skin is rough in winter and skin care products are not absorbed well, so you exfoliate frequently? Big mistake! In winter, the skin barrier is inherently fragile. Frequent exfoliation will make the stratum corneum thinner, make the skin lose protection, and be susceptible to external stimulation, resulting in redness, tingling and other problems.

The right way to do it: Adjust the frequency of exfoliation according to the skin type. Once 1-2 weeks for dry and sensitive skin and once a week for oily skin is enough, and you should choose mild exfoliating products ~

Myth 4: Squeeze acne with your hands

In winter, the skin is prone to oily acne, and many sisters can't help but squeeze acne with their hands! However, there are so many bacteria on your hands that squeezing acne will lead to infection, and it will also leave acne marks and pits, which are difficult to repair and # affect the face value.

Correct practice : If you have acne, you can use mild acne products. If it is serious, see a dermatologist in time, and stop squeezing it with your hands ~
